Holy Confession and Holy Communion were "suggested". Your rule of thumb can nicely complement in the form of the maximum of the two. Related to point 4, instead, you did not directly mention, but it is worthy reminding (me at first!) that God is love and justice. Unrelated to the topic, the continuous denial of the Holy Communion is terrifying. Ways to reverently receive Our Lord need to be found. I will pray for you. God bless you!

Dear Reverend Father Andrew, thank you for the new episode. We would need at least 10 on this topic. Quite interesting the ratio you discuss about in point 1. Canon Law's request of at least a Holy Communion and Holy Confession per year is clearly a very low lower bound we should not reach. Considering the requests of Jesus with the first Friday of 9 consecutive months and of Our Heavenly Mother with the first Saturday of 5 consecutive months, I have always thought that at least a monthly
